Team Play Update - February 8 Match at Home vs Brookside

The Saturday team managed a strong win against Brookside at home this weekend. The Brookside crew seemed pretty confident coming in, but in the end we ended up defending our home turf quite well with a convincing 32-16 win.

We remain in the driver's seat in Group 18. Santa Anita is the team that we need to beat, either at home or on the road to lock up the division. We have three wins and one tie, which gives us 7 total team points; Santa Anita has three wins and 1 loss, which is good for 6 points. Brookside and Los Amigos are both out of the running; Brookside has one win, two losses and a tie; Los Amigos has yet to win a match and plays their final tow matches against Brookside. Santa Anita will be mathematically eliminated if we can defend our home track again this weekend when they come up the hill. That being said, we cannot be complacent as Santa Anita has walloped Los Amigos both at home and away over the last two weeks, so we need to play well and play smart.
