2021 MGA Ryder Cup Results

It was a beautiful day out at the club as 24 MGA members teed it up representing Team USA and Team Europe. With singles match-play on the front and foursomes (alternate shot) on the back, there were 3 points up for grabs in each group.

In the end, Team USA took the (imaginary) cup home - 11.5 to 6.5. The early cards were looking good for Europe, even taking a small lead. The Americans roared back with a vengeance, however, running the table in a few groups leading to the final outcome. Many matches went deep into the round and everyone had a good time.

Although it was in a losing effort, the highlight of the tournament was turned in by Ben Izeh (pictured in front above). Ben, playing in his first MGA event, aced the 9th hole making the day extra special. Congrats again, Ben!

Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make the event possible.
