March Monthly Event - 2023 Season Opener

NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SAT. MARCH 11TH DUE TO A SCHEDULING CONFLICT WITH A TEAM PLAY MATCH.

DATE / TIME: Saturday, March 11th - 8:30 am Shotgun

EVENT ENTRY: No Entry Fee (cart fees only, if riding)

– optional $20 skins game (players automatically entered into both gross and net skins)

– $10 for gross skins

– $10 for net skins

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, Mar. 7th 5:00pm

FOOD: Taco bar after the round

FORMAT:

– 2-man Team : Average Score + Worst Score Dropped

– Players will be divided into A and B groups based on handicap index. Each team will

be comprised of a randomly chosen A player and B player.

– Average of both balls: Both players’ net scores will be added and divided by 2 for each

hole.

– Worst Score Dropped: The team’s highest average score on a hole will be dropped

from their total score.

– Two or more flights will be created if there are enough teams to do so.

SIDE GAMES:

– $20 Skins - cash payout (optional - players are automatically entered into both gross and net skins)

      – $10 for gross skins

      – $10 for net skins

– Closest to the pin on each par 3 -  pay out $20 each

PLAYER OF THE YEAR POINTS:

– Major Team Event Points Awarded

    – 1st Net - 180 pts (90 per player)

    – 2nd Net - 150 pts (75 per player)

    – 3rd Net - 120 pts (60 per player)

    – Top 3 net places earn points for each flight (if the event is flighted)

– 15 points will be awarded to each player for participation
