2022 LCFCC MGA Canyon Classic

 ALL SCHEDULES AND DETAILS TENTATIVE AT THIS TIME

The 56th Annual Member-Guest tournament and marquee event of the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club Men's Golf Association!  This tournament is three days long and culminates with a Saturday eveing cocktail dinner and awards ceremony!  With your registration fee you'll get food during the tournament, free drinks, Travis Matthews swag, vendors equipment and other goodies, dinner with music, and carts and green fees on Friday and Saturday are included! 

Price:  $700.00 per team of two. ($350/player)  Tickets can be bought here on the website, or you can write a check to LCFCC MGA and drop it off in the pro-shop.

 (The fee does not include the optional $100 per team buy-in, which can be paid in-person the morning of the event.) 

Teams will play two rounds of 18 holes in the Partner's Best Ball format.  There is also and optional 9-Hole Scramble on Thursday night.

Notes:

• Day 1:  Mega Throw!  Every player will get a number range ball to throw from the 10th tee box to the 18th green.  
• Day 1 & 2: Two closest to pins each day.
• Day 1: Beat 60.  There will be a cash prize fr any team that scores below a net 60!  (Day one Only)
• Day 2:  Optional Skins game.  $20 buy-in per player.

Gold Tees:  You may play from the gold tees if you are 70 years old or greater.  You must also have posted at least 70% of your years rounds from the gold tees if you are an LCFCC MGA member.

Stroke Differential:  There is a maximum 10 stroke differential between you and your partner.  For example, if you have a 18 course handicap and your partner has a 30 course handicap, your partner's allowed strokes will be based on a 28 handicap. (10 strokes more than your handicap.)

Pace of Play:  As usual, you must keep up with the group ahead of you at all times regardless of whether someone is on the hole behind you or not.

Show our cart boys and girls some love and tip generously!  Although the MGA tips each golf staff member for the Canyon Classic, they work very hard these three days and greatly appreciate anything you can offer for their great attitudes and hard work!
